In a world of crowdfunding and social media challenges, it may seem like ideas for in-person fundraising events won't drive the same impact. Others work as an artist part time while still in school, to develop experience and to build a portfolio of published work. Adhering to this vehicular medium in art, may then at least equip philosophers with a notion that can deflate the concern of whether conceptual art, by rejecting physical media, denies the need for all artistic media.
